10 Secrets Strategies Using Twitter for Business

Twitter is very popular and the little tweets are telling great storiews of what is so important in the personal lifes of others. The messages or tweets are somewhat trival like "I go to bed", "watch TV", "I am single again" or what someone had for launch. It is all fun, isn't it.
Besides this fun, how Twitter and tweets can be used for business?
Internet marketer (IM) use it already to inform others of what is going on in there personal life and in business. Besids this group, businesses using tweets to share the latest news about there business, market, product, and more. Some companies only tweet about one of there product.
The beauty and power of Twitter is, the message can reach a ready, eager waiting group. People who want to know. These people have asked, subscribled to the tweet, they are ready for the latest message, news.
This might sound all great, but... is this for my business, my niche, my product? How do I do it and what shall I write?
Here are 10 strategies to use and it does not matter if it is a product, service, a home based business or a big multi company. Everyone has only 140 characters to create the poss, messages or, as you say at Twitter, tweets.
1. Share tools and resources. Over the day there are usual some things. An interesting article, a plug in, a blog post, a youtube video, podcast. Twitter is perfect to share, i.e. "Found great new Firefox plug-in to monitor & check multiple Gmail accounts at same time at (URL here)" or "Read great blog post on workíng at home with kids under 5 at (URL here)"
2. Ask a question. Having a problem or run short on ideas? A tweet can help to get ideas started. "Help! Desperately seeking new digital camera. Recommendations?" or "How do I find training organizations online?
3. Cunduct a survey. The same as asking a question. Ask them via Twitter, i.e. "Quick poll: Do you get more clients from Facebook or Twitter? Respond at (URL here)"
4. Report live from Events. Twitter is strong in this. It was done during the US-Presidental election and concerts, conferences, workshops. In order for Twitter users to follow, use the name of the even together with a # sign, you might tweet "#JVAlert John Smith speaking on affiliate programs. Just got great idea on training affiliate managers!"
5. Answer questions. As people ask questions, make comments, share ideas, it is easy to provide answers and feedback. Doing so will not only help others, but it is also in the spirit of giving back to the community. Besides it help to build professional relationships, increase respect and provides export status with time.
6. Announce Service and product launches. Twitter all followers about the launch of a new product or introduction of a new produc. "Pre-launch pricing for new DVD set about how baby boomers can start an online biz. Get $100 early bird discount at (URL here)"
7. Latest activities in your business. Perfect time to tell others what is going on, researching form my blog, writing an article, creating your weekly experiment, recording your podcast, i.e. "Had great interview with Jane Smith today on speaking to grow your biz. Great ideas! Subscribe to podcast & listen here (URL here)"
8. How your product or service is helping others. Here 140 character testimonials are shared with other twitters. Talk about specific ways that your business helps clients and use their Twitter ID if you have their permission, i.e. "Just finished @clientname brainstorm great Internet marketing plan for 2009" or "Finally finished setting up Quickbooks for local hardware store -- now they can invoice their clients"
9. Welcome new people. Over time people will start follow your tweets. If not you are doing something wrong. Everyone likes to be welcome, it's human nature and good manner. Besides it is helping the new follower to get some exposure of their Twitter profiles to others who may have never heard of them and who might like to follow them. Try do make a tweet as soon as possible like this, "Welcome @twittername-of-new-follower and thank you"
10. Automate the tweets. Sounds terrible, but it is not. The idea is to take other activities from the web an connect them to twitter. When a blog post is done on your site, this blog post can go to twitter as a tweet. The same is true with other online activities. Submitting articles, some RSS feeds, and other services. All that's involved is to connect the particular service to your Twitter account. Once all the services are connected, you get free and automated Twitter posts with no additional effort on your part.
