Make Money Online: A New Year Resolution

After the holiday season and getting back to work - if you have a job - people in general feel it is time for change. Feeling the energy and electricity of change, the New Year Resolution is still fresh: time to look for a better easier way to make more money in a shorter time. Make Money Online.

Google the term and over 84 million pages results show up. Narrow it down by using " and still over 15 million pages are out there. It is a hot topic, people want and need to make money.

 Now if you happen to look already for some time, say a few month or weeks you might came across some great offers. Most of them urge to act now or it is to late.

Matter of fact, at the beginning of the year and actually starting shortly after Christmas lots of offers are coming out. One better as the one before. Sad think is, there are even some ground breaking offers among them. Only trouble is to find them or to recognize them as such.

For me it is a hit and miss. Until now I can not say what works and what doesn't. I think it depends on what a person is looking for, how much time the person has. There is not enough time to try all offers not even when using the $1-trial-over for the first 30 or 50 days. Making matter worse, new offers hit the mailbox as well. It is hard to keep an overview or stay on top.

Right now my mailbox is full of such offers and all want my money. They don't say it, but that is what they want at the end. Rather going to all of the offers I started to look first who is sending me them. If I got good stuff from that person before I consider. But I do a step before.

I write down what I want for 2009. Yes, before I can start making money online, I need to know how much money I really need. Writing down is very helpful. What are my fixed expenses, what are my extras. For what I want to use the money I earn online? All this I want to know.

Once I wrote it all down. I look at each position and add a date to when I need that money. Once that is done, I have a good idea on how much money I plan to spend in 2009. Now I need to add to this amount health insurance, tax, and other expenses. I end up with a total of $$$.

The time has come to break it all down into a monthly amount and further to a daily amount. The month is looking already much better and gives an idea of how much I need to make online each month. The daily amount will help later when it is time to actually sell something. Weather it is an affiliate product, info product or my own product.

Knowing now how much I need to earn to be able to effort all the stuff I want in 2009 and having it in three figures is giving me a very good understanding on what I need to look for among all the offers that come my way these days.

Okay January is almost gone, February might not make it in terms of money, still there are 10 month left this year to earn the amount you need.
