Lots of speakers, experts and gurus alike love to tell you that it is important if not essential to outsource. Why do they say that?! There is a need for outsourcing and it is important. Actually it is not that difficult. Find a place online to place your request and wait for someone else to take your offer, do the job and get paid. It's nice theory, isn't it! Reality somewhat looks different. Most people who want to earn any amount online, have more time than money at hand when they start. Only a few have plenty of money to invest and for them it is easy to hire people, as for the rest, outsourcing has to wait or has to be done smart. Having time but no or little money is not that bad when there is willingness to learn the skills needed. The learning curve can be small or very big, depending on the individual background. At the same time the reward can outweigh the learning curve. Having done and knowing all aspects of the business (your online business) will help to identify the outsourcing tasks and sharpen your communication skills with the person who will do the job for you. Do everything as good and fast as you can, be pro active not perfect. This site is not about perfection, but to learn is needed to get it out to the world. Action is most important. Once your site up, running and making money it is time improve your website or start a new one. With the money you are now making you might be able to get a freelancer to do some of the tasks for you. Typically the first things people ask other people to do for them is:
  • create graphics for the website
  • create a website
  • produce content
It is always a good idea to improve these three areas, but if you have only a very small amount to re-invest you should put that money towards content creation if you are not good at it. New content is the what search engines love to come back again and again. Your visitors will love great informative content as well. If you're not good in writing content, get a ghostwriter to do it for you, once you make more money get the graphics for your website done by a professional. As you can see, by making money online, you re-invest some or all of that money in improving your online business to make you more money. Outsource first the things that make more money for the site and that you are not good at. Gradually you will outsource other aspects of your website. Tasks you don't enjoy doing or that hold you back from more important tasks.
