It allows you to quickly survey the rankings for a keyword query across Google, Yahoo and MSN. It is a killer for competitive research!!
Enter your search terms and you'll see the top 20 results from Google (green), Yahoo (red), and MSN/Live (blue) rendered as color dots, with lines connecting the dots where the same page is present in two engines results. It's a kind of like in the image on the right - hard to explain, but easy to see once you install it.
Here's the really SWEET part - Ranker is built into our new StomperTools Firefox Plugin!
Not only does StomperTools give you access to Ranker right in your browser, but when you have Stomper Scrutinizer installed, you can instantly "Scrutinize" any page you're viewing right from the browser, too!
It works in the Flock browser, too. Guess Ed Dale will tell you about this tool soon, but remember you read it here first. :-))
