By - Posted on 12 March 2008
This is a very helpful post on the Elance blog. Jeff Haden a freelance writer give his tips and advice on working with a freelance writer when outsourcing your written project. Some of his advice is similar to what I outlined in my article on "Tips on picking a provider " If you haven't read it here is the link. Tips on picking an outsourcing provider
Jeff goes on to give advice on how to describe your project to help you find the right provider for your project. He also writes about the importance of choosing a provider and reviewing their work samples.
Here is part of the article and a link to the Elance blog.

Elancer Insights
We asked Jeff Haden, an Elance provider in the Writing & Translation category and a freelance writer we work with, to give us his perspective on how and why you should consider working with a freelance writer. We hope you enjoy this guest blog contribution from Jeff. Connecting with and building relationships with current and prospective customers is vital for your business, and the words you use can literally make or break you.No matter how you “touch” your customers – through website content, promotional literature, newsletters, blogs, press releases, e-books, or how-to guides, just to name a few – it’s critical your written communication is clear, to the point, and most of all effective.If you feel your writing skills aren’t up to par (or you don’t have the time to devote to the task), there’s a solution.
Freelancers can help you write:
* Web content: Home page, product information, articles, bios, etc
* Promotional Literature: Catalog and brochure copy, flyers, ads, even radio ad copy
* Newsletters
* Blogs
* Articles
* Press Releases
* E-books
* How-to Guides
* And the list goes on and on…

nice stuff.actually i was looking for web designer/developer and SEO team.so i decided to put my project on elance or any other bidding sites.
But thankfully one of mine friend advice me not do this.He told me that
“The bigger problem on Elance, , is dummy projects. Some buyers post projects simply to get an idea of the cost or to try to find free work.”So, he advised me to hire employees from marketraise corp ,and i am satisfied with there performances.
